When I feel heavy with worry I close my eyes and imagine myself filling with sunlight, feel the warmth, picture the beams reaching my depths to each corner, each finger, each toe, until it is practically bursting out of me. If the sun is shining I will take a moment to feel the warmth on my skin and feel the light fill me from wherever the sun hits. This feeling of being filled with light warms, calms, grounds. 

When I carried my son Eli I would picture the light filling my belly, surrounding him, keeping him safe, later on as he grew bigger in my belly he became my light, in my mind I nicknamed him Sol, my own personal sun and he still is now, in my darker moments he is my light, in all of my moments he is my light.

That is what led me to create this collection, Sol. Recycled silver pieces based around a hero piece, the Sol necklace. Wear it as your own reminder that after each night the sun rises again and will continue to until it doesn’t. Sol can be worn plain or be marked with the initial of who lights up your world, the initial of your own personal sunshine.

Seasonal Last Order Dates 

On a final note, whether you are thinking about treating yourself or someone else to some Kate Wainwright Jewellery over the next few months here are some things to bear in mind; Final Christmas Guaranteed Postal Dates. Worth noting is that with the global pandemic there is likely to be an increasing demand put on postal services so as ever I would put an emphasis on ordering early to avoid disappointment. 

For guaranteed delivery within the United Kingdom the final order date will be the 7th December.

For guaranteed delivery internationally the final order date will be the 28th November.

Of course you can still place orders following this date and as always I will endeavour to get them in the post to you as soon as possible but due to high order volumes during this time of year plus now having a mini human keeping me busy I cannot guarantee them getting to you in time for Christmas. Also worth noting is that I am a one woman business with only one pair of hands so if the level of orders is particularly high coming up to Christmas I might need to cut off the last Christmas guaranteed order times sooner in order to prioritise the orders already placed.
